WW2 American 37mm Tank/Anti-Tank Gun, M74 APT Round

Offered for sale here is a nice WW2 American 37mm M74 AP-T projectile body fitted to a correct 37mm M16 Anti-Tank/Tank Gun case. Brass case measures 37x222R with headstamps '37MM M16 Lot27423138-12 S.C. 1942'. Steel M74 AP-T projectile is in excellent condition but WITHOUT driving band. There are no marks indicating that the band has been chiselled off so it was probably 'borrowed' from the manufacturing factory as a souvenir 'back in the day'.

Would make a nice restoration project.  

The last image shows a diagram from TM 9-1901 of the 37mm M63 HE round to show the profile of the driving band. The M74 projectile had the same profile band. 

Condition as per images. P&P using RM Tracked 48 to a Mainland UK postcode address will be £4.50.
