Description

Approximately A6 size, this small (165mm x 105mm) pocket sized pamphlet is entitled 'Field Service Pocket Book, Pamphlet No9a Ammunition Abbreviation'. Published in 1940, this little ten paged black & white guide shows all the abbreviations to be used when communicating ammunition type requirements or identification in abbreviated form, and as seen when stencilled on rounds/projectiles and ammunition boxes. An invaluable guide if you are restoring items and want to use the correct ammunition abbreviation.
