The .450 Adams (or .450 Revolver) is an antique, black-powder centerfire cartridge introduced in the late 1860s for British service revolvers like the Beaumont-Adams and Webley RIC. It fires a ~225-grain lead bullet at very low velocities (~700 fps) and was phased out by the British military starting in the 1880s. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
