Relic WW1 French Time & Percussion Nose Fuze, '24/31mm Mle 1916'

Front end of a French 75mm Field Gun Shrapnel projectile consisting of the steel cap with attached Time and Percussion Nose Fuze, '24/31mm Model 1916' (Fusee a double effet de 24/31 Mle 1916). This part of the projectile was 'blown off' when the time fuze fired in order to expel the shrapnel balls within the projectile. Weighs 480g and measures 108mm tall. Completely inert and safe. Made of brass and steel.

Condition as per images. P&P using RM Tracked 48 to a Mainland UK postcode address will be £4.50.

• Item is INERT and Free From Explosives (FFE) Hazards and identified to the best of my knowledge but the buyer is responsible for ensuring that the identification is correct.
